Matthew 3

John2 talked about Repent   ( A person who repents stops rebelling and fully surrender and willing to take up that

cross to follow Jesus.The first step is turning to God and Admit your sin everyday. Both profits Isaiah who was a profit from the old testament and John a cousin to Jesus in the New testament

 thought that the the message of repentance is good news to those who listen and seek the healing of gods forgiveness

of gods love. John the baptist called people to more than words or ritual; he told them to change their behavior. produce fruit in keeping

with repentance means that god looks beyond our words and religious activities to see if our conduct backs up with what we say, and he judges our words by the actions that accompanied them.

I was asked if my actions match my words? That's painful- I know that I fall every day, but i ask God to help me up every time I fall..

It's not easy to walk the walk or talk the talk. I always ask God to give me the  mind of Christ and to do unto other as I would have them do to me.

 Another question I was asked do I practice what I preach? Help Help lolllll   :)   That was a little convicting for me.. 

 What made me think allot in the passage was

verse10 The ax is ready at the root of the tress and every tree does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. Just as a fruit tree was expected

to bear fruit. Gods people should produce a fruit as like serving others. Jesus like said by my  fruit you should recognize me. I love that!

 I thought we could start Matthew .. We all need to be challenged in reading daily.. I need to ask forgiveness from most of you. I haven't been that friend

to most of you.. But its not about me. I do and care for all of you. I pray that one day I can be that friend. If you have

What Matthew 1  that the word Immanuel  means God is with us...Jesus means the Lord saves

Joseph is the son of David who is king David in the genealogy that's where Jesus is related to David who killed the Goliath.

Joseph was afraid to marry Mary, although Joseph seemed to be doing the right thing by breaking the engagement- He thought. Then an angle of the Lord appeared to him. 

 only god's guidance could  help him make the best decision.  How important it is when our decisions affect the lives of others.

 

 As for me  I am always having to ask god for his help with all my decisions in life. I always mess up.. 

 We must always seeks Gods wisdom and then be willing to follow through no matter how difficult it may be. Like I said Making choices in our lives

can be disastrous but asking god for help can  only bring blessing to us.. I thought about what if Joseph didn't obey god, well god would have used someone else. If we don't obey God he will use someone else to. Its hard at times for me. I fall short all the time, but I  ask God to pick me up quickly. Some people would say to me why doesn't god hear my prayers? I would  say  to them its

important to first ask him for forgiveness every time that you know that you sinned, and I have said  have you asked the lord to be your personal savor. To really take up that cross and follow him. Its not an easy road, all wants wants is for us to try. We can all pray, but God wont hear us if we aren't right with him. Having

have a relationship with him and reading our bibles. When you fall in love with someone you want to know everything about them. Same with Jesus, how are you going to love him if you don't make the effort to

 

 know him. I promise God wants so much  for you. He wants nothing more then to bless you give you the desires of  your Heart! He has show me that  he gives and takes  away. Like I have heard of some many

kids and adults  be diagnosed with Cancer lately. God gets out attention where it hurts us the most. That's why its important to not just pray but to

build a relationships with him daily so when hard ships come it will be easier for us to go to him and ask him to hear our prayers. He never leaves us, he is always there with open arms, waiting for us. We reject him. He love us that much, he died for us. He is  a jealous God he wants our time. Whats 10Min's a day  for me.. I promise your life will be blessed. I didn't say its always  going to be easy but it will be better..

 

 

Matthew 2

King Herod was afraid that this new born king would one day take his throne. He completely misunderstood the reason for Christ coming. Jesus didn't want to take

his throne, he wanted to be king of Herod's life. Jesus wanted to give Herod eternal life, not take his present life. today people are often afraid that Christ wants to take

 things away when, in reality, he wants to give them real freedom, peace and joy, we should not fear but God, but give him the throne of our life.

read on web sites critical of Scientology or in the alt.religion.scientology newsgroup how the core of Scientology belief is summarized by the Xenu incident in which a despot called "Xenu" supposedly clustered several human spirits together 75,000,000 years ago and threw them in physical bodies.

This, however, is a completely misleading presentation on the part of critics.

The core belief of Scientology is that Man gradually forgot his spiritual nature after a tumultuous history of past-lives incidents, and that Scientology has the "tech" to help him regain his full spiritual awareness and abilities.

The Xenu incident, although an important one in the overall Scientology scheme, is just one of these past-lives incidents.

A very simple reasoning will show that the Xenu incident can't be the core belief of Scientology.

The Xenu incident was not known even to L. Ron Hubbard when he founded Scientology in 1953. Scientology existed as such for 14 years before the incident was discovered. When he added it on the "bridge", it did not fundamentally change anything to the basic process Scientologists followed and still follow. To this day, you could just abstract the Xenu incident and you would still have a relatively intact system referred to as "Scientology".

Since the Xenu incident is only revealed at a very late stage of Scientology processing, the vast majority of Scientologists don't even know about it. Yet, they call themselves "Scientologists" and refer to what they do as "Scientology".

To summarize Scientology by the Xenu incident is thus completely false. The purpose of such action is to frighten newbies away and to ridicule Scientology beliefs. It shows that, contrary to what they claim, critics are not interested in honest presentation but in propaganda and proselytism.

Secret Teachings

Critics claim that the Xenu incident shows the true science-fiction nature of Scientology, and that by revealing it they are doing a service to members to whom the incident is hidden until they are duly brainwashed.

This is another fallacious argument, and falls apart when you examine it more closely:

	Contrary to what critics would want you to believe, the Science-fiction nature of Scientology is already very much present in public books and magazines. You will find there stories of past lives incidents, galactic battles, and many science fiction elements. The Xenu story as such is not particularly more or less "ludicrous" than these. Why would it require "brainwashing" to accept the Xenu story and not these other stories?
	Secret teaching only revealed after people are considered ready to confront it is nothing new. It has been widely practiced by occult groups throughout history. Even to this day, it exist within groups like the Mormons or Free Masons. It even exists as part of the Jewish Quaballah. Why would it be brainwashing in one case and not in the other?
	Why would the Xenu story be more ridiculous than Moïse splitting the red sea in two, Jesus being born from a virgin, Mohammed raising to the sky on a ball of fire, or Christians eating wafers and drinking red wine while the minister mumbles about the body of Christ?

It is true that the Xenu story is used in Scientology as a "Mystery sandwich" to keep people on the bridge in the promise that their case will be ultimately resolved going through the "Wall of fire". As such, critics are doing some good in revealing the nature of this incident and in demystifying it. The way they use it, however, as part of their propaganda machine makes their actions hardly better than what they condemn within Scientology itself.

Years ago in LA a friend and I were finishing up brunch across the street from the "church" of Scientology HQ. We were bored, curious, and looking for a laugh, so we walked over to the visitors center. I'll never forget the strong sensation as we walked in - as if steel dungeon door slammed behind us. It wasn't long before a succession of kind but creepy zombies shepherded us deeper into the building, higher up the chain. Each asked questions more weird and prodding. While sitting alone in a waiting room, my friend and I conspired to adopt false personas for whatever came next. He would be a Hollywood Blvd. runaway with a rebellious temper and I would be a rich kid with a submissive, passive personality.

We were split up and put through several more hours of tests and interviews. The questionnaires were hundreds of questions long and cleverly designed to begin the process of raising doubts about self-worth and distrusting your current support structures. The interviewers were powerfully shrewd in their use of psychology to these ends. They deflected any questions that sought to understand a bigger picture of the steps I'd take, what I'd gain from each, and how much they would cost. I was only to look at the next step in front of me.

By now our fun little lark was going on about 5 hours and I wasn't entirely sure I was free to leave. So, in character, I began to have a panic attack. It took making quite a fuss, but I was finally able to retrieve my friend and get the hell out of there. We literally gasped for fresh air when we got outside.

My friend, as expected, had a different experience. They recognized he was a free thinking troublemaker and were eager to get him out long before me - (even though his character arguably needed spiritual guidance more than I).

For six months afterward, my persona continued to receive Scientologyt letters (to the empty mailbox in our building). They even came around to ring the doorbell a few times. My friend, on the other hand, received no follow up.

My experience convinced me that Scientology exhibits primary characteristics of a cult: identify the gullible, separate them from the pack, sow doubts, create dependency and fear of leaving. All religions do some of these things to some degree, but Scientology seems far and above more cultish. End the tax-free status for these creeps now!
